TERMS AND CONDITIONS

At Chifley Suites Auckland we want you to have a safe and enjoyable time with us. We do have a number of policies and other information that you may find useful and should be aware of:

• Check in time is 1500hrs and check out is 1100hrs
  Please note there is a non refundable 10% deposit when making bookings on this website
  Modification to bookings can be made within 7 days of arrival by calling the property directly
• Check in or check out outside these times is subject to availability and subject to additional charges
• Reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card. This will not be charged when making a booking but will secure the reservation
• Bookings cancelled within 24hrs of the day of arrival are subject to a cancellation fee of one night’s accommodation
• Reservation dates can be changed within 48hrs of check in but changing dates are subject to availability and rate change during peak periods
• In the case of a no-show, a fee of one night’s accommodation will be charged to your credit card for each room booked
• Bookings not secured with a credit card are subject to cancellation by 6pm on day of arrival

Cash Policy

• Full accommodation payment is required upon check in if paying by cash
• A bond of $200 per night is required to cover any incidental charges incurred during your stay. Should there be no incidental charges, the bond will be returned in full on departure
• Photo ID (Driver’s Licence or Passport) must be presented on Check-In
• The room will be checked prior to departure

Smoking Policy
Chifley Suites Auckland is proudly a Non-Smoking building. Should you wish to smoke, we ask that you do so outside of the building. All rooms are fitted with smoke and fire alarms which will detect cigarette smoke. Should you smoke in the room, there will be an additional charge for cleaning of $150 per room.

Guest Visitor Policy
Guests must meet visitors in the lobby and accompany them to their suite. Our staff will advise you of visitor arrivals however due to security reasons, we will not allow visitors unaccompanied access to the suite floors.

No Party/Noise Policy
Chifley Suites Auckland will not accept a reservation when the intent is to have a party or function.

If we become aware that a party is planned or in progress, or should excessive noise disturb other guests, immediate notification will be given to the guest concerned that Chifley Suites Auckland has a no party policy and out of respect to other guests, excessive noise is not permitted and must cease immediately. Should this noise continue and disturb others, guests in the suite will be asked to vacate the property with no refund of accommodation charges of the room. Any other guests participating in the party will also be asked to vacate the property immediately.

Gym Access
Chifley Suites Auckland provides complimentary access to Just Workout located on Durham Lane, to our in-house guests. Keys for access to the gym can be collected from Reception and must be given back to our team when you return from your work out. Just Workouts policy does not permit access for those under the age of 16 years. Please also observe standard gym usage protocols and respect other gym members when at the gym.

Gym times are as follows:
Mon - Fri: 5.30am till 8.30pm
Sat - Sun: 8am till 4pm

Child Policy
Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to stay at Chifley Suites Auckland unless supervised by a parent or guardian. There are no additional charges to the room rate for children.

Parking Policy
Parking is available at an adjacent car park. Parking is paid direct with the provider. Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.

Left Luggage Policy
Chifley Suites Auckland is happy to store your luggage for a maximum of 24 hours. While best endeavours are made to ensure the safety of your property, we take no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to luggage while in our care. Left luggage will only be returned upon presentation of the matching numbered luggage tag.

Loss or theft of Guest property
While best endeavours are made to ensure the safety of your property during your stay with us, Chifley Suites Auckland takes no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to guest property. Security measures are in place to ensure the safety of guests and their property and we encourage guests not to leave valuable items in their suites unattended. Laptop-sized roomsafes are available in all suites.

Chifley Suites Auckland is participating in the Qualmark Responsible Tourism Operations programme. We believe that we all need to take responsibility and contribute to a sustainable green and clean New Zealand.

By encouraging our team and guests to only use as many resources as required and delivering on our Environmental Commitment, we’re helping to maintain a better environment for us all to live, work and play in for many years to come.

We believe in protecting New Zealand’s environment and want to ensure that your children and their children can visit and enjoy it too. To do this, we have adopted an Environmental Commitment and welcome your support and participation of this initiative.

Most of our guests want to help, so we invite you to join us and learn more about our Environmental Commitment. Talk to any of our team who will be happy to share with you ways that you can reduce, reuse, recycle to help build a more sustainable community.

We have an Action Plan that forms part of our Environmental Commitment. The Action Plan details ways that we are meeting our responsibilities and obligations. It ensures that we continually monitor and find ways to improve how we behave in a responsible and sustainable manner along with caring for the environment.
